Thanks to those parents and students who remembered to bring their book-bags and homework books to school on Friday. It has made organising reading books much easier. There are a couple of students who forgot their books and bags, so they haven't received their reading books yet.
This week we are restarting our spelling programme. Our first focus is words that start or end with 'ch' eg. cheese, speech. Note. Christmas is a special case - we will talk about how this is not in the same family as it has a silent 'h' so the sound is said cr.
Each student also has one high frequency word they need to learn this week.
