Pataka Visit - Monday

Hi Everyone

Just a reminder that on Monday, May 30th, educators from Pataka will be visiting Pukerua Bay School to run workshops with Rua and Toru. We will be exploring the sea creatures that live locally in our harbour/ sea and the effects of pollution and rubbish ending up in our storm water drain pipes. We will then do an art activity where students will learn processes to make stencils that may be used to decorate our school storm drains.

Some parents, grandparents etc have indicated they can help. Anyone who can do so, please come to Rua 11am to 12.30pm on Monday 30th. We'd love to see you there.  
On Friday we farewelled David, our student teacher, with a onsie/ pyjama and movie afternoon.
